David enjoys working with individuals and business owners to develop strategies and financial plans for their specific needs.
He’s a graduate of the University of Pikeville (formerly Pikeville College) where he earned his degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting/Management.
A firm believer in continuing education, David advanced his education in financial services at The American College and The Institute of Business & Finance. He is a Certified Financial Planner™, a Chartered Financial Consultant® and a Certified Fund Specialist®. He also holds various other industry designations and licenses, including FINRA series 6, 63 and series 7 registrations, as well as life, health, and variable insurance licenses. In addition to this, David holds a Masters of Science degree in Financial Services (MSFS).
He specializes in investment planning, asset allocation, risk management, retirement planning, insurance planning, education planning, social security planning, estate planning, and comprehensive financial planning.
In his spare time, David enjoys spending time with his family, reading, attending church, and taking walks with his Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Mason, Ireland, and Katie. David and his wife, Tonya, have two daughters.
